I really love Project Runway! Such creativity!
Well, the little one's outfit, just fit...I underestimated that one. It still looked adorable, but sadly, will only get one wear.
My oldest daughter was getting ready for school, we were running late, and oops, didn't get her face-I was really fixated on my applique owl I downloaded from Applique Cafe-so cute! It matched perfectly with this jelly roll skirt that I made. The pattern is from Sewplicity blogspot...so check it out, really cute :)

Jelly roll skirt - take 1
As I watch reruns of project runway, I am deciding to try and go with this. So, I just finished a jelly roll skirt with Ticklish by Me and my Sister for Moda. I used a website called www.chicaandjo.com.
This website has a link to determine the amounts of fabric that need to be cut for any size tiered skirt. You put in the waist size, length, number of tiers, and voila (sp?), directions on how much to cut for your skirt. My skirt for the oldest, came out cute, but not as "twirly" as she likes. This was my first attempt, and I am notorious for messing up the first draft. I intend on doing the again, with a few modifications. (My gathering was uneven)
All in all, it was a cute skirt (even with all of my mistakes!)

New to this...
So, I have decided to start a blog, mainly to use for fabric giveaways. What happened to that girl who partied the night away with reckless abandon? Oh yah, she got married, had 4 kids, and discovered that sewing and crafting can be very therapeutic. I still enjoy my wine (and beer, and vodka only on occasion), hence the name of the site. Who knows...maybe I will enjoy this "blog" thing...we will see....
